Large Scale Temporary Staffing Project For Data Management Company

About The Project:

Due to Tandym Group’s longstanding presence providing companies with staffing and recruitment services throughout New Jersey, a government-funded data management company located in Parsippany, NJ, approached us when they needed staff for a large scale account management project. The client, who specializes in administering state and federally funded grants to a variety of programs, considered partnering with Tandym Group for the first time in hopes of establishing a long-term relationship.

A Managing Director of Tandym Group’s Temporary Staffing division in Parsippany, NJ, played a major role in initiating the first connection with the client, and a Senior Director of the Human Resources & Administration verticals, would be integral in executing such a large scale staffing project. The client would rely on our overall performance on this project to determine if our firm would be the right partner for future projects.

The Challenge:

High Volume - The client needed to hire a total of 20 detail-oriented Case Management Analysts who would handle a wide variety of account management responsibilities.

Time Sensitivity - We had 1 week to submit as many qualified candidates as possible. The client wanted to conduct their own interviews and have the right candidates hired and ready to begin training within a span of 3 weeks.

Hybrid Skill Set - Candidates needed to possess an array of specialized skills, including: a general understanding of insurance, strong communication skills, and solid analytical & reasoning skills.

The Results:

With only 1 week to find qualified candidates, the team managed all stages of the interview process (i.e., sourcing,  screening, interviewing, testing, etc.) before submitting qualified candidates to the client. Since the client was open to a broad spectrum of professional backgrounds and experience levels, the team employed a number of creative outreach and recruitment strategies to connect with a wide array of potential candidates.

Alongside our Managing Director within the Human Resources & Administration vertical, the team screened a combination of recent graduates and seasoned professionals with 20-30 years of experience. On top of this, they reconnected with past Tandym candidates, collaborated with college career centers and local graduate programs to recruit students, and even partnered with a nonprofit organization aimed at helping women thrive in the workforce.

Tandym Group submitted a total of 40 candidates for the client’s open positions. Although the client worked with 2 other agencies to fill the remainder of the vacant spots, they were particularly impressed by Tandym Group’s industry expertise and ability to find qualified candidates for such a unique role on a large scale, under significant time constraints. Based on our overall performance and proven capabilities, the client continues to work with us for their temporary staffing needs.
