About The Project:
Due to their rapid growth, a global nonprofit was urgently seeking a new temporary hire. As a result of their expanding team and increasing workload, the president’s office at the organization reached out to Tandym Group for assistance finding an experienced administrative support person with a ‘hands-on’ and fast-paced business ethic who could be available on a temporary basis. The client was looking to fill the administrative role as soon as possible, and as a result, our Office Support team had candidates readily available for a seamless sourcing process.
The Challenge:
Time Sensitivity: In addition to the tight timeframe to fill the role, the potential candidates had to have been previously cleared by Tandym Group and also be open to an immediate temporary assignment. Since the client needed someone to start as soon as possible, the candidates had to be available to interview within a day.
Niche Applicant Skillset: The client was seeking someone with professionalism who was well-versed in the nuances of nonprofits in the midst of busy season. Personality fit was an important requirement since the candidate would be joining a small department.
The Results:
Soon after the urgent job order came in at 10am on a Thursday, Tandym Group's Office Support team was able to have four qualified candidates cleared and on the client’s calendar to interview the following day, all within two hours from the original request.
The next day, the client interviewed the first two candidates and was so impressed with the quality and fit that they opted not to interview the remaining two candidates. The client selected the first candidate and met the second as a backup if the first candidate didn't accept.
From a job order to a placement in less than 24 hours, Tandym Group’s Office Support team demonstrated not only an efficient sourcing and placement process, but also a keen ability to understand a client’s need for cultural fit in order to make the right match for the organization, and specifically a small department, under tight time constraints.
Notable Data:
4 Screened Candidates Submitted Within 2 Hours + 2 Candidates Interviewed = 1 Candidate Placed Within 24 Hours
