Long-Term, High Volume Project For Managed Care Organization

About The Project:

The client, a market leader in delivering credible drug information and affordability solutions, approached Tandym Group's Tandym Tech division in New Jersey, to assist with their IT staffing needs. Our services quickly expanded to support a wide range of staffing needs including Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, and Administration professionals. Over time, our proven track record of providing a full-service staffing experience for a diverse set of roles set the stage to develop a long-term partnership to assist with high-volume Call Center needs.

At the start, our Managed Care division staffed a total of 34 Call Center roles during the initial project. However, with the rollout of a number of new drug programs, the client’s needs evolved into a focused effort to build out their Customer Contact Center with healthcare professionals.

The Challenge:

Service Expansion - Due to an increase in the number of patient users of a new drug program, the client needed to secure additional resources to handle an anticipated 70,000+ new enrollees, inquiries, and questions.

High-Volume Needs - The client regularly reevaluated their staffing needs based on a cycle of new drug programs, so they would consistently need to secure high-volume placements (40+) of Patient Care Representatives on an ongoing basis.

Hybrid Specialized Skillset - Candidates needed to possess patient care experience, as well as an empathetic communication style that was critical to addressing their patient population.

The Results:

In order to provide staffing solutions for such high-volume projects, we outlined a recruitment strategy focused on utilizing our pipeline of administrative and healthcare candidates to meet project deliverables.

Our expertise in the Managed Care space allowed our Healthcare recruiters to focus solely on identifying Patient Care Representatives with experience working with a wide patient population, while our Office Support team continued to staff for resources with general call center experience. Today, we continue to work with the client as a direct result of our firm’s ability to support their staffing needs across multiple lines of business and office locations.
