About The Project:
The client, a medical group dedicated to working with physicians and caregivers to provide patients with chronic medical conditions a continuum of care, was in search of a partner who could provide healthcare staffing solutions for a new growth initiative.
During the start-up phase of the new program, the client was focused on establishing a large network of healthcare professionals, so they reached out to Tandym Health for help placing a high volume of clinical and administrative professionals.
The Challenge:
High-Volume Clinical + Non-Clinical Roles: The client needed to fill 20-25 Nurse Practitioner roles, 6-10 Case Manager roles, 5 Social Work roles, and 2 Pharmacist roles. On the non-clinical side, they would need an ongoing supply of temporary administrative staff, including Patient Care Coordinators.
Diverse Candidate Experience: For the clinical roles, the client needed to secure candidates that had primary care experience, were open to traveling to patients throughout all boroughs, and also had exposure working with high-risk patients. Temporary administrative candidates needed to possess an extensive medical background, be computer savvy, and hold a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from a reputable program.
Time-Sensitivity: The client had planned for several roll outs in 2-month increments, and therefore, needed to secure a steady influx of clinical and non-clinical candidates to meet their business objectives.
The Results:
Spearheaded by Tandym Health Senior Managing Director, our clinical and non-clinical Healthcare staffing divisions employed a number of outreach efforts to source for all of the client’s roles. First, our team met with the executive team onsite to get a breakdown of the program’s unique goals and staffing needs as well as to outline the type of skill sets that were most important for the project’s success. This breakdown provided our recruiters with greater insight so that they could properly articulate the program’s expectations to prospective candidates.
After the onsite discovery meeting, a dedicated team of 16 recruiters focused solely on sourcing and screening potential candidates for this client. The team employed strategic email marketing campaigns to hundreds of working candidates, while also utilizing social media and targeted job boards to broadcast certain roles to a wide spectrum of healthcare professionals.
Finally, our team gathered qualified candidates through referrals from nurse practitioners, schools, and clinics we’ve worked with over the years. Candidates were particularly drawn to the opportunity to participate in a new program aimed at working with high-risk patients for a recognized medical group. Tandym Health placed 10 Nurse Practitioners, 6 Case Managers, 6 Patient Care Coordinators, and 1 Pharmacist and continues to act as a true partner for staffing their clinical and non-clinical needs.
