About The Project:
To adapt to their clients’ evolving needs amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a laboratory company that originally oversaw test results at nursing homes and other pop-up testing sites realized they needed to offer extra staff to administer tests at their client sites as well. Recognizing that timing is everything when fighting a pandemic, it became apparent that these organizations were short on staff, so the lab turned to our Healthcare and HR/Administration teams to supplement their staffing solution in order to administer tests more efficiently. While they handled testing, we focused our efforts on filling clinical and non-clinical roles for their clients’ quickly growing needs.
Limited staffing resources: While the lab was experienced in providing testing technology, this was their first foray into staffing. They simply did not have the pipeline of qualified candidates needed to meet their clients’ quickly growing needs.
Urgent, time-sensitive needs: With new sites popping up at a moment’s notice, the client needed a partner who understood the time-sensitivity of these projects and had a process in place for quickly clearing staff to start.
High-volume: Our client needed access to a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Each setting would require multiple clinical and non-clinical roles to be staffed within the testing site.
We leveraged our network to identify and clear over 75 candidates to be available at all times to work at the testing sites. This pipeline of candidates, as well as our around-the-clock availability, ensured an entire site could be staffed in less than 24 hours’ notice. Due to our responsive customer service, the lab was able to offer their new COVID-19 testing and solutions to many more of their clients. As a result of this success, our client continues to utilize Tandym Group as a trusted partner amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
