About the Project:
As a result of the growing number of COVID-19 cases in Texas, a prominent disaster and crisis management firm was tasked to devise a plan to keep hospitalizations down amongst a vulnerable community. In order to combat the growing cases of COVID-19 in the state, the firm needed to work with a trusted staffing partner to quickly assist with a high-volume placement of skilled healthcare professionals at two unique alternative care sites and three infusion centers. As experts in healthcare staffing, Tandym Health was able to step in and meet the challenge.
The Challenge:
Urgent, time-sensitive needs: As COVID-19 cases spiked, the emergency health situation in Texas required a quick turnaround in finding medical professionals to staff newly formed field hospitals and infusion centers.
Meet the demand with the right skill sets: The additional infusion centers and field hospitals would require highly skilled healthcare professionals for their operations, just as demand for their skills had skyrocketed.
High-Volume: Each site required all hands on deck from the range of medical professionals, and due to the severity of COVID-19 cases, hundreds of staff were needed to provide a superior level of care to the community.
The Results:
Our team successfully filled each role at the new sites, with over 100 healthcare professionals working on any given day throughout the several months these sites remained open. With our prompt responsiveness around the clock to the client’s requests, we were able to schedule and onboard all recruited professionals in their respective sites.
Our placements included: MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, LVNs, Pharm Techs, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, CNAs, and Intake Admins.
The project is currently ongoing and we continue to assist with all clinical hiring needs for the alternative care sites and infusion centers in Texas as related to COVID-19.
